Visit the places where Jane lived, worked and socialised and discover fascinating, little known, facts about one of Britain's best-loved and most brilliant novelists. Based at the boutique 4* Bird Hotel, prices will be in the region of £1,275pp* so grab your partner, or an Austen-loving friend, and enjoy an intimate weekend exploring the places Jane called home.

Head off for Hampshire with your personal driver and Strictly Jane Austen expert guide.

Highlights include the village of Steventon where Jane was born, raised and wrote the manuscripts for her first three novels (‘Sense and Sensibility’, ‘Pride and Prejudice’ and ‘Northanger Abbey’); Chawton House, where her now best-known novels were revised, finished and published, and the Jane Austen House Museum, home to the very desk where she wrote ‘Mansfield Park’, ‘Emma’, and ‘Persuasion’, and her final resting place in Winchester Cathedral.

A day in Bath with your expert guide discovering Jane’s favourite haunts and the locations she featured in her novels. Highlights include the chance to feast on Bath Buns (a favourite morning treat in Jane’s day) at Sally Lunns, step back into Regency England at No.1 Royal Crescent and take afternoon tea at that social heart of Georgina Bath, The Pump Room.

Jane Austen Stonehenge

On the final day of the tour, your driver will take you to Wiltshire to see two of the world’s greatest pre-historic marvels – Stonehenge and Avebury. Set in beautiful countryside about an hour-and-half from Bath, discover why these amazing sites have long been a source of fascination and interest.
